+It's an old Florida spot. The drinks and food aren't bad, the service can be good. It's an affordable location to roll out of bed and hit the beach. There are two pools on site, so you can get a little privacy from the restaurant area. Great place to people watch. I love a few of the rooms, as each are unique.
-It's o-l-d. The rooms can be musty and rather dark. The mattresses are awful! When I really want to relax and feel pampered I head somewhere more upscale. This is not upscale and some of the rooms have an undesirable location - be choosy and look at the property map. When I want to dance, get dirty with my kids, and sleep because we're tired from a day in the sun and sea - I stay here.

+We truly enjoyed our experience at The Driftwood. We loved the 'old Florida' feeling, the ambience of the old rooms, the rustic appearance, the ocean view, sleeping with the windows open and listening to the ocean. Neat, neat place. We'll definitely be back.
