-The office staff was so so so very rude on the phone and in person...would never want to deal with them again they were mean. This place needs a new office staff!!!!

+We've been coming for 13 years and plan to keep it up. The rooms are clean, the beach is easy to use, the food is good and fairly priced and service is provided with a smile. This is an old resort, a historic place, a great place for a family vacation.
-Mattresses are very hard. Maybe they'll improve as they age.

+My grandparents own a timeshare here, even though they've both passed we still come year after year, i have grown up here and now i have my own kids who get to grow up here, It's a great place, great people, great place to enjoy your vacation!

-Photos from website not realistic, the "cottage" was in the middle of the parking lot. There are no cottages here, believe it.

"We stayed at the Driftwood early February. I read alot of reviews and was very apprehensive. At the same time we are adventurous. The hotel is rustic, old, but with plenty of character. Great place!"
+The staff was incredibly nce and the maid service was superior. I don't understand those reviews. They have someone inspect the maids after the room is cleaned. Loved that it is a total outcast to the neighbothood. I think some people are not fond of it and may consider it a sore eye, as they are a bit upity. The wine bar across the street was great. It had an outdoor patio and band. Gloria Estafan owns the hotel next door that had great happy hour apps and drinks. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Beach is great but our view was incredible from the 4th floor balcony including the occean, which was so nice with the anarondek chairs. We enjoyed the band in the afternoon and the rest of the town at night. We didn't go to downtown Vero which we heard was really nice, We were content to relax just for a few days. If you are not open to a new experience and are used to those boring stuffy 5 star resorts then this would not be for you. We tuely enjoyed our experience and would come back again.
-The bar could use a bit of a clean up. Painting the rooms could freshen up the mustiness.
